Charlie Wittwer (President Minnesota Paralyzed Veterans of America) was very fortunate to be selected as one of the 12 athletes from the 2007 National Veterans Games to be chosen by General Mills to have his photo on the Cheerios box. Charlie lives in Duluth, Minnesota with his wife Jan.

A Purple Heart recipient and Vietnam Veteran, Charlie has competed in the National Veterans Wheelchair Games for 12 years winning a total of 44 medals and pitched for the National Wheelchair Softball Championships for 16 years. Charlie is beginning his fifth year as President of the Minnesota Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America.
